| This EP, which collects the
tracks released in the UK earlier this year, will be released on Devil
Doll Records, a California based independent label, who approached us with
the idea earlier this year. It is a one off release that does not affect
the on going relationship between the bands label - Attack Attack Records
- and their N America distributors - Redeye. We'd like to thank John at
Devil Doll for making these tracks available, something which we could not
have done economically ourselves. (It also gives us a good reason to tour
this side of 2007)
Release date is November 21st. Catalogue number is Devil Doll Records DDR-39. Distribution by Lumberjack/Mordem |

The long awaited new album, titled "Carnival" is now on release in the UK, Europe & North America. Most good record shops will have it in stock but if you can't find it The Shop is turning orders around as quickly as it can. We have heard that some countries are releasing a week later than UK to coincide with press dates and we hope the extra wait is not too inconvenient for some of you.
Already heavily reviewed on the Noticeboard, the general opinion seems to be that in true NMA style, a great CD that gets better everytime you listen to it. Justin has been interviewed by the website and talks about the new album on the Talk pages.
It is released (as all recent albums) through the band's own label - Attack Attack Records, and is distributed by independent companies in each territory. Catalogue number is ATK2311. Distribution is by different specialist companies in each territory - SRD in the UK, Rough Trade in German, Austria, Switzerland & Benelux, Redeye in USA & Canada, XIII Bis in France, Spain & Italy, Sonic in Poland with more still coming on board. It looks likely that this new album will get a wider initial release than many previous releases, which is great news for everyone.
Cover is naturally another fabulous original from Joolz - it was previewed on tour postcards earlier in the year and features on all tour promotion for the autumn, including merchandise
The album was mostly written in the rehearsal studio in Bradford and then arranged by the band in the recording studio in deepest Wales, where is was recorded by Chris Tsangarides - another in the long line of highly respected and experienced producers who have worked with the band. It was mixed in London by relative newcomer Nathaniel Chan and the results are just what we wanted. Carnival really conveys the power of the band - pounding rhythms, soaring bass, driving guitars and biting vocals combine in the passionate and dynamic way that only NMA can produce. Justin's lyrics are as poignant as always. Subject matter swings from Britain and Bradford to Africa via religion and relationships, and the poetry is as beautiful as ever. Of course, the CD is presented with a full lyric booklet.

New (OLD) EMI `live' album:
ALL OF THIS - THE `LIVE' RARITIES A collection of live b-sides and extra tracks from 85-91 was released by EMI UK on April 12th. The band would like to make it very clear that this album contains NO new material, and while it is a good sounding record of where they were 10 years ago, it should NOT be confused with the NEW live double album "...& Nobody Else". Please see above. We would also like to point out that the artwork was nothing to do with Joolz.
Vinyl (limited edition) copies of STRANGE BROTHERHOOD are still available from NMAFC.
